A day that quite a few things went wrong

Happy Birthday Cat!

Went shopping with cat in the afternoon. I saw a pretty pair of sunglass selling at $7. Cheap! Took it from the rack and TADA! It broke! So i paid for the sunglass.

Next, went to try out dresses for Junhao and Meiying's wedding. Went taking off the dress, the button from the belt came off and the tread that was securing the tag got stuck on the zip. =(

3 x 190 buses bypass me and i'm still unable to board the bus. So i took 700 instead. It doesn't go to my house straight. I had to change to LRT. Took LRT, actually short journey of 3 station. While approaching the 2nd station, we have to alight from the cabin coz it's not functioning well.

er...a day that quite a few things went wrong.

Rest and Relax!

Hahaha...missions month is over, alpha course is over. 2 of my big projects are over and i'm really happy! woohoo!

left with cambodia missions trip and church camp 2010. heh...can relax a bit.

Delievered my 1st "sermon". Haha..i woke up this morning asking God if I can dont wake up. Scare lor.

Thank God everything went well. of the 20mins tt i'm allocated, i only spoke for like 10mins. hahaha...but addressing both church members and guest is scary!

Alpha Finale

Heh..Alpha Finale is not quite a Finale. Coz we are having an Alpha Reunion!More effot will be placed there and that seems more like the official closure of Alpha Course than the session 10 that we had yday.

We have completed 10 sessions of Alpha.

Lord, Thank you for seeing us through each and every step.

The cell group has learnt a lot, grew a lot. It's a major milestone.

on a side note, my CGL nv fail to drive me up the wall when it comes to cell group matters yet he is such a darling when it comes to missions. It's confusing.

Debut

Tomorrow is my debut teaching to the congregation.

Am i nervous? YES I AM VERY NERVOUS!

Though it's only a 20 mins time slot, but i'm like sooooooooooooo scared! Yes, i've being on that pulpit many times but those times were for testimonies! Testimonies cant really go wrong you see, it's my own experience. But teaching is different!

Then! There's no pulpit this sunday coz the stage is used for performance! So I might not have a place to put my script, i need to memorise the script! Hmm..or maybe they will give me a stand? I dunnoe lah. Panic attack!

Nervous as I may be, I'm still thankful for the opportunity.

Getting used to it

After receiving Tribute allowance for 6 months. I'm getting used to this new life style.

Do I have extra money in the bank? No

Do I have enough? Yes

Am I in need? No

Did i travel? Yes, by the grace of God and generosity of family and friends

Am I able to eat food that I like? Yes, though not as often but it's ok. Family and friends have been treating me to good food too!

Am I able to buy the things that I want? Yes, though not as much as before. I think the Lord has curb my appetite in shopping. The desire to buy things dropped drastically.

Was it difficult? Initially yes, but now I'm getting used to it.

It's was God's promise that He will provide in abundance and I need not worry about it.

travelling plans

Travelling is so captivating! It's just so hard for me to let it go. The moment i'm back from one destination, i'm thinking of the next place to visit.

I like travelling. I can make new discoveries and admire God's creation.

Now that my long awaited Taipei trip is over, i'm thinking of whether is the next destination to go! Hahahaha...

Actually i'm hoping to do scuba diving this year but looks like it will has to be postpone to at least next year or if not 2-3 years later.

I think it would be wonderful if there could be 1 short trip, 1 long trip and 1 mission trip a year. heeeeee....

So for year 2010....erm....i hope......i can go to an island resort ( Koh Samui??) for a short trip, then maybe go to Australia for the long trip and of coz Cambodia for the mission trip.

it costs nothing to hope for the best outcome right? Hahaha..actually i think i'll be satisfied with one holiday trip and one mission trip. =)
