Made a big blunder at work on thurs.

Cust wanted to know if his account is tagged with certain facilities. So the answer will be simply yes or no. However, I can only reveal to the authorised signee and thus have to verify the caller. Cust got a bit upset when he was unable to answer a few questions and question why am i making things so difficult for him when the answer is only yes or no. I wanted very much to verify him so that i can tell him the ans and tt he wouldnt get so upset. Hence as i was trying to explain the verification process, i told him that for this level of verification, i need to know info A or B. *Jiang! Jiang!* that's when i revealed the internal processes to him.

Everyday the compliance will screen about 10 calls...and of the 1000 calls a day..that found mine!! Oh man...so they emailed to my big boss and asked for explaination. I had to sit tru a coaching session with boss. She has this big eyes that will make you really frighten. I almost cried. She was kinda stern and i tot i'm in deep trouble. So after some explantion, she told me that she will settle the problem and ask me to be more careful with my work. This incident will be reported to the dept head. Aiz........one black mark for ah leng......

Was kinda demoralised for the rest of the day...and was praying for hard that the calls will be manageable for the day. Really thank God that with His strength i was able to pick up myself after a while and that the calls for that day was really kinda easy. heee...

My team leader is really nice. She went with me to meet boss and when she return to her desk, she msg me and told me to cheer up. It really make a difference. God uses different pple to make diff impact in our lives.

kinda like this weekend. Slow pace but fruitfull.

Went tru my stack of bills and made out all the cheques. Feel so poor now. Hahaha..

Met up with cheryl on sat afternoon and we chatted from 4pm till 9pm! It's amazing! We have not met up for like 2 years and each time we meet...we have so much to talk about. A friend that i wanna keep. While i was on my way to the woodlands interchange, met 2 poly students doing an entreprenuer project. They were selling heart share paper clips and told us that they need to raise 100 bucks. The first boy came forward and spoke soooooooooooo fast!! Cheryl and i were like...blured. Then his team mate came over and spoke in very aggressive ways which immediately turned me off. I told them since this is an entreprenuer course..they should sell something tt pple will buy. And he started his whole story of it's not just about the product or the money but this project is also trg his communications skills.....blah blah...
Haha..in the end..i walked away w/o giving any money. I mean..c'mon...my $2 can do more for the cyclone and earthquake victims.

Sunday is church day! Kinda sad...no boys turned up for BCG...only JJ, DJ, JY and KL came. So instead of watching a movie..we spent time sharing and praying. Lord...what's your will for BCG?
The sermon topic for today is " Called by God" and that the only key point i took home is...What good izit that we know of something yet not responding to it. Having mere knowledge but not putting it into practice means nothing. And i think i fall into this category of often not doing many things tt i've knowledge of. It's a deliberate choice sometimes. How about you? for example...i know tt i'm fat but i refuse to do anything about it. I know tt if i put in more effort to prepare for my work, i will perform better but i did nothing...there's always a lot of I know..i know....but no actions means nothing is achieve.

Went for dinner and movie at PS. Heh..watch Made of Honour. It's kinda nice..it one of those awwww...feels good movie, no brainer just go in..have a good laugh then come out of the cinema feeling that you wanna fall in love too. Hahaha...

So glad that i dun have to work tmr and tt i can wake up at like 11am....whahahaha

I really gotta kick this habit of overeating. I wasnt hungry just now but still agreed to have supper with all of them. And i finish the whole plate of thosai masala chicken on my own. Result: big tummy

I was trying to cut down on my carbo intake this week. I told God that i am going to skip carbo for dinner. Will only take carbo for lunch. I managed for the 1st 2 days. Subsequently, had to have dinner with other pple and i was having pasta and pizza!!

Need to keep to my plans man...getting rounder and rounder.........oh man...

Last year I embarked on my journey to Cambodia for my 3 months internship. It was full of surprises, fun, freedom as well as lonely difficult times. But i totally enjoyed it and hope for more similar oppty to come.

I'm planning for a holiday!! 14-17 Aug!! Jac and Dor has confirmed their leave but we cant decide where to go yet. Currently we are looking at Taipei, BKK or Sabah....Taipei and BKK will be for shopping while Sabah is for water sports and cultural experience.

Went to Raffles Marina Club for Alpha Weekend today and the view was so awesome! Lots of beautiful yacht and the seaview is just so great! Looking at the ang mos on the yacht makes me wanna go out to the sea with them. I think hor...i really like the sea sia...hahaha...scuba diving anyone??

Mel showed me the bride's maid dress material. haha..and they are all pink colour..a colour that probably wont look very good on me..hmmm...so..i better slim down!! i think will look fat.

Okie! from today onwards, no carbo for dinner!!!

Went to singapore flyer for free on wed!! THANK YOU JACLYN!! the night view was quite cool..like the expressway the most. I dunnoe why but the expressway really look very good from the flyer. Actually time pass very fast on the flyer...we were like..." hey look at this!!" , took many photos and then we reached! hahaha...honestly i wont pay $30 to go on the flyer. Since it was a free ride. the ride was great! whahahha

what a tiring monday.

Had lots of calls to take and yet my stats still at 50s. What's up man???? Why pple can hit 80+ but i cant?? Hmmmm....is there anything wrong with the way i handle customers?? Too naggy? Hahaha

I was telling God that the 3 months of allowing myself to slack in whatever i do will be over. (oh i gave myself this 3 months grace period to adjust to new work environment and everything else in my life could take 2nd place) Taking this week to adjust to being Shuling in full force. Haha...no more half hearted work!!

Wha...i gave my cousin blog to my frenz for a bag spree...and guess what?? 8 girls orders 33 bags! The power of shoppin!

Mel just came back from her HK trip. shiok lor..her company paid for her!! And she bought krispy kream for me!! Just got it from her. yummy!!

So purpose of this week is to improve my call stats and adjust back to normal life!!

Attended Dior basic make up class! It was quite fun! Something different from my usual saturday routine. It was kinda dragging to wake up in the morning but i'm glad that i make it there. I've always wanted to learn how to do some basic make up. Tho i do put on some make up when i go to work..i sometimes wonder if i'm going thw right way.

During the class, there was this main make up artist on the stage and many helpers on the floor to guide us. We were seated, 3 in row with make up kits in front of us for us to use.

We started with lots of skincare products. From toner to serum to sunblock..more than the basic 3 steps wor!! They keep saying that skin care is more impt that make up. So does it means that i should spend more money on skin care than on make up?? I think it's true. Since your skin will need lesser make up when your skin condition is better.

What is a better skin care product? Exp = good?

Then we went on the apply lots of make up on ourselves too. Hahaha..he taught us how to apply make up base which evens out the skin tone, foundation for coverage, concealer to cover darker marks, loose powder to make application for other products easier. Next, eyes! The most crucial part of asian girls!! Haha..3 layers of eyeshadow, eye liner and mascara and viola! i get beautiful eyes! power of make up!

And guess how much i spent tt day...hahahahaa...$300 plus..but with the kind sponsor of $280 from my friends for my bday present. Hahaha...hence i dun feel so guilty



JP Morgan Run, 23 Apr, Padang

It's my first time attending such public run. I always it's kinda strange that people will pay money and go running together. Well i didnt sign up for the run on my own obviously. I was kinda force into it. Maybe not force..but for the goodwill of all. One of the VP in my dept very enthu about such things so he kinda asked me along. Even after i told him i'm not a runner and has trg tt day he still ask me to join them. As a newbie..what can i say??? say ok lor. So i jogged 5.6km..the longest run in my life i think..even cross country was only 3.2km.

It was very crowded. Lots of pple were walking!! so i have to slither thru and it's kinda annoying. Hahaha but still good fun. knew my colleagues a little better.

Gooodie bag was pathetic. Only 1 t-shirt and 1 sample size sunbloack.
